The mission of the school is to ensure that all students are able to effectively access information through reading and research. Our goal is for students to become proficient in using a balance of both print and electronic resources. Teachers collaborate with the librarian to plan projects that teach research skills through the use of books, 互联网资源, 数据库, 和应用程序. The library also encourages students to read for pleasure by providing a wide variety of reading material and by offering the opportunity to participate in [BC]Squared - the Bishop Canevin Book Club.

Awarded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association, this collection of books explores the theme of "A More Perfect Union" in honor of the observance of the 150^th南北战争纪念日. Bonus material includes a DVD edition of "The Civil War," the award-winning documentary by Ken Burns. The collection is a part of the NEH's efforts to strengthen the teaching, 研究, 以及对美国历史和文化的理解.
